Originally owned by the Lamborghini factory Registered in May 2000 to Automobile Lamborghini S.p.A, this Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 served as the company's demonstrator for journalists, customers, and promotional test drives. Valentino Balboni, Lamborghini's chief test driver, had the privilege of showcasing its capabilities. Adorned in Grigio Antares (light grey metallic) exterior shade, the car featured matching Grigio leather with Nero Persus surrounds and black stitching. Chassis 12408 received factory servicing in September 2000 at 2,745 km. It remained with the Lamborghini factory until 2003 when it was sold to a Swedish collector, who owned it for 7 years. It then passed into the hands of French collector Nicolas Leroy-Fleuriot, an avid sports-racing car enthusiast, who also kept it for 7 years. In 2018, an Italian collector acquired the vehicle, and in 2020, our client purchased it from a private European collector. The car received new tyres upon purchase for €2,095, and in 2022, it underwent servicing and minor repairs at Italian sport cars specialist Berlinetta Motors. In 2020, Valentino Balboni, the legendary factory test driver, inspected chassis 12408. This particular Diablo VT 6.0 is one of the 260 units produced, offering a unique opportunity to acquire a car registered and utilized by Lamborghini as a demonstrator for their esteemed clients. Such an opportunity is rarely available. The vehicle comes complete with its original paperwork, title, warranty card, service history, pouch, and tools.
