The Alfa Romeo GTV of the Tipo 916 series is a sports coupé from Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo. The model was introduced in autumn 1994 together with a new Spider and was built in three series with technical and visual differences until the end of 2004. Like its open-top sister model, the GTV is based on the Fiat Group's internal Tipo Due platform and is therefore related to the Fiat Tipo, among others. The coupé on offer, with a 150 hp 4-cylinder engine, 5-speed transmission and leather interior, was delivered in Switzerland, handed over by the Alfa Romeo dealership Heinis + Bachofen AG in Ettingen on April 17, 1998, and registered by its first owner on the 24th of the month. The lady remained loyal to her sporty GTV for over 20 years and ensured that it was regularly serviced by the dealership. In 2020, with a good 126’000 km on the clock, the Alfa Romeo was taken over by a brand fan in the canton of Bern, who sold the coupé to the seller in 2022. He parked the car in his small collection without ever registering it. With three owners, just under 131’000 km on the clock and a complete service history, the GTV is in good original condition with the usual signs of wear on the driver's seat. The last service, including replacement of the timing belt, tensioners, and water pump, was carried out in September 2019 at 126’000 km, and the coupé will be handed over with its last MOT dating from August 2018.
