This particular example, Chassis # WPOCB2962RS460255, is a 1994 Carrera 2 finished in black with a matching black top and a black partial leather interior. The car sits on 17-inch light five-spoke Turbo Design wheels and was optioned with the AM/FM radio with CD player, a dark rootwood shift knob and matching parking brake handle, Porsche crest wheel caps, heated seats, and power driver’s seat. Altogether, these options added an extra $4,355 to the MSRP, bringing the total price to $79,270. This 911 was delivered to Autohaus Lancaster via the Port of Charleston before being registered in April 1994 in York, PA. The first owner regularly maintained the car and enjoyed it to the fullest, adding almost 6,400 miles per a service in May 1999 at Autohaus, where it was originally purchased. That dealership would serve as this 911’s main point of service until the owner moved to Keysville, VA, in May 2006, with 9,690 miles on the odometer. In January 2012, after nearly 18 years of ownership, the 911 made its way to its second owner since new, with just over 9,900 miles on the odometer. The miles began accumulating more slowly as the car was driven sparingly, though it continued to pass its yearly safety inspections. In March 2021, it was sold to its third and current owner. Shortly after, in March 2021, the car was fitted with a new set of front and rear speakers, along with a 4-ohm bass blocker. In February 2022, at 12,648 miles, Abacus Racing in Virginia Beach, VA, performed an oil change, a thorough inspection, installed new hood and deck lid struts, new wipers, and new Continental Extreme Contact tires. More recently a PPI was completed in anticipation of its sale and the undercarriage dry-ice blasted, all courtesy of Leading Edge Autosport in West Chester, PA. Autocar Bespoke completed a comprehensive detail whereby the all too common faded/cracked rear lights and “Carrera 2” script were also replaced in preparation for sale. As it sits, this is a very well-maintained example of one of Porsche’s more modern 911s with just under 17,000 miles on the odometer and only 3 careful owners from new. It remains mostly unmodified from its factory configuration, with the exception of the aftermarket speakers. Upon purchase, the new owner will receive all of the owner’s manuals, window sticker, boot cover and bag, toolkit, spare, air pump and available records.
