The current owner, a Belgian collector, has cherished the car since 2007, maintaining and refining the vehicle with great care and attention to detail. Finished in its original color and presenting beautifully thanks to a high-quality repaint, this Evo 1 stands out not only for its rarity but also for its mechanical soundness and subtle, performance-focused upgrades. It hasn’t been fully restored in the traditional sense, but it has received significant work to ensure it remains both reliable and engaging to drive. Refurbished and Upgraded Under the hood, the engine was professionally rebuilt, including a new crankshaft, new cylinder head, and Wössner forged pistons (first oversize). The turbo was revised by Turbo Technics for improved response, while cooling and reliability were enhanced with a new radiator, revised alternator, and an updated A/C system adapted to modern R134a refrigerant. The suspension has been refreshed with new springs and Koni shocks, offering both comfort and sharper handling. Braking performance is also improved with new discs, and a Supersprint exhaust adds a sporty note without overwhelming the original character. The car sits on new 16-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin tires, offering the perfect blend of period-correct looks and modern grip. The interior is a treat. The original seats have been replaced with beautifully trimmed Recaro high-back units in Alcantara—tastefully done and perfectly in keeping with the car’s spirit. Other subtle enhancements include new door rubbers, a Momo steering wheel, quickshifter, and a classic Blaupunkt radio that ties everything together with vintage flair. This Delta Integrale Evo 1 is more than just a car—it's a connection to one of the most thrilling chapters in automotive history. It offers the rare chance to own a truly usable and well-sorted example of a motorsport legend, ready to be driven and enjoyed.
