It was the first model created after Alejandro de Tomaso took over the company. With it, Maserati continued the tradition of sporty luxury sedans. From the summer of 1986 it was given the name “Maserati Royale” because, in addition to the era of a Maserati biturbo, it retained the classic eight-cylinder engine. The 4.9 liter V8 engine achieved speeds of around 220 km/h. Only 2.025 cars of this model were ever made during its production period. The Maserati Quattroporte III offered here was used privately by a Hamburg specialist for Italian sports cars and was regularly maintained by him. The Maserati was imported from Japan about 10 years ago. It is rare to find a vehicle of this series in a largely untouched original condition with a mileage of just 81,000 km. Engine 4,9 Ltr.-V8-Engine, 4.930ccm, 280 HP (Factory Spec.)
