A well-maintained example of Lamborghini’s charismatic V8 Jalpa, benefitting from ongoing improvement and careful ownership. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the Jalpa represented Lamborghini’s answer to Ferrari’s V8 sports cars, with dramatic styling, distinctive side intakes and unmistakable 1980s supercar presence; just 410 examples were produced between 1981 and 1988 Powered by a quad-cam 3.5-litre V8 producing around 255bhp, driving the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox and offering the engaging and analogue driving experience for which these cars are increasingly appreciated Showing 54,629km (33,945 miles) at the time of cataloguing, this example has remained within a private collection and has been regularly maintained and exercised since it was last offered for sale in 2021 Previously refinished in Nero with a full retrim in Cream leather, the paintwork now presents as nicely mature whilst the interior has been further improved and remains particularly well presented Mechanically well sorted and evidently benefitting from continued maintenance and use, supplied with a history file including numerous old MOT Certificates and the original service book with seven stamps, representing a rare opportunity to acquire one of Lamborghini’s most usable and collectible classic V8 models
