The story behind this collectible... - You don't buy transportation, you buy class and quality. - The Mercedes SL R107: sporty, light, but with the solid luxury that only our eastern neighbors understand. Introduced in 1971, the new SL was a grandiose sales success from the start. That was actually not so obvious. At the time, the car was more expensive than a Ferrari 246GT Dino and twice as expensive as the Jaguar E-type. Whereas the car depreciated significantly then, it has proved to be a good investment in recent years. As a classic, the car does great; a real value for money. At the Cool Classic Club, we love these cars because they tick so many boxes. A perfect 8-cylinder, beautiful chrome, a seventies interior design, plenty of space, and super-reliable technology. A modern driving experience while driving around in a seventies icon. Our example is a German delivered model. Owned by a powerful 3.5L V8 that will take you from A to B in style with any urgency. Not at all bad to make a detour. The gold metallic with black leather interior really shows this car off, especially with the soft top down. Before she came to us, she received a major service, allowing you to arrive at the Ligurian Sea over the Alps without any problems. Will you come try it out with us?
