This Jaguar Coupé was delivered to Royal Elysees CH. F. Delecroix, the French importer in Paris and registered for the first time on 8th May 1968. At the end of the 90s, the E-type belonged to a gentleman from Lyon who had the cylinder head converted to unleaded fuel in 1999 and at the same time had a new fuel tank installed. In August 2015 the Jaguar was imported into Switzerland and registered locally. In 2018, the car was prepared for a Veteran MOT, with all the work documented and invoiced at around 16’000 francs. In 2019, the Jaguar was finally sold to its last owner, an enthusiast with his own workshop for precision mechanics. He wasted no time improving his steed and installed a new clutch, a new oil-pump, starter motor, alternator a stainless-steel exhaust system, new front brake discs with optimised brake pads, and other improvements. In 2022, a set of new Michelin classic tyres were installed. Consequently, the Jaguar is in technically very good condition, with the coachwork and interior in good condition with signs of use. The car has its own FIVA ID and will be handed over with the last veteran MOT completed in October 2022.
