Engine 4 Cylinder / 1558cc / 116hp

National vehicle Imported to Spain since its purchase as new in 1966. A vehicle that has always been active, even with its last owner, a collector who has used it for what it is, in rallies and other competitions. The engine was completely rebuilt to keep its good shape. The rest of the vehicle is in good condition with minor updates pending. The Lotus Elan offers unique driving sensations The Elan is technologically advanced compared to its competitors, with a 1558cc DOHC engine, four-wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and four-wheel independent suspension. It's extraordinarily agile on slow twisty sections, but maintains spectacular poise on fast motorway sections. Its excellent chassis and weight content make it stick to the ground and at the limit it appears very balanced. The front axle reacts precisely and quickly to any hint from the steering wheel and the rear axle clings to the asphalt in any situation thanks to its steel chassis. mind also in forward position.
