Extensively documented history & Authenticity check and number report

This 1963 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster represents the final and most refined evolution of the legendary W198 series and is one of approximately 210 alloy-block, disc-brake Roadsters built. Notably, it is among the last examples produced and delivered after the official end of production. Ordered new on January 5, 1963 by Bernard Greunke, Milwaukee, the car was collected through tourist delivery in Stuttgart on March 4, 1963. Its early history is exceptionally documented, including the original purchase invoice. The car has had just 4 owners from new, including a 41-year long-term ownership (1973–2014), during which it was carefully preserved incl. its original leather and maintained. The current owner has held the car for the past 10 years. It comes with a German registration and shows a total indicated mileage of 43.487 miles. Accompanied by extensive documentation, a renowned expert report with number and material verification, factory hardtop, books, and tools. A truly exceptional late-production 300 SL Roadster—rare, authentic, and historically significant.
