The Alfa Romeo 2000 serie (1958-1961) was the flagship of the brand at the time. The cars were available in Berline version (with factory Sedan body), Sprint (coupé with Bertone body) and Spider (convertible with Touring body). In recent years, the Sprint and Spider models have become more popular, which has significantly increased their values. The car presented here for sale is a rare EU version (Origin Germany) that was extensively restored by Classic Car Service Restorations in Belgium. The restoration was completed in July 2017. A complete foto album of the various steps of the restoration comes with the car. Today, it is still in excellent condition. It is featured in metallic gun grey with a red leather interior that was totally renewed. The body was completely restored and repainted. The paint is homogeneous and in very good state. There are no traces of use and a protective layer has been applied on the paint. Some of the chromes were replaced and they look in general very good. The original wheels were restored. All rubbers were renewed. The black canvas convertible roof has been renewed and looks good. The vehicle is powered by a 1975 cc original and matching number engine that went through a complete restoration. With its 5-speed manual gearbox, it starts and runs smoothly. The mileage counter shows 53.320 Km. In a few words, this is a nice opportunity to acquire a beautiful exemplar of the Alfa Romeo 2000, in excellent state, esthetically and mechanically.
