1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona'

It was the late-1960’s when the ‘Daytona’, having earned its unofficial title courtesy of the Ferrari 1-2-3 domination at the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours, was the must-have grand tourer. It features a Columbo-designed 4.4 litre V12, quad-cam, dry sump, 6 Webber carbureted engine with over 350 bhp, mated to a smooth 5-speed manual transmission, allowing the enthusiastic Ferrari owner to power from 0-60 mph is an astonishing 5.4 seconds! This Daytona in particular is one of only 16 Berlinettas originally finished in Oro Chiaro, delivered new to the Iranian Embassy in Rome, Italy before travelling to Iran where it formed part of the Shah of Iran’s sizeable car collection.
