BMW celebrated his achievements with the M3 E30 Cecotto Edition, introduced in 1989. Based on the Evolution II, it featured the 2.3-litre S14 four-cylinder with 215 hp, distinctive Evolution-inspired aerodynamic details, special trim and a numbered plaque carrying Cecotto’s signature. Only 505 examples were produced, with 25 of those becoming the UK-market Roberto Ravaglia Edition. Available in Misano Red, Macao Blue and Nogaro Silver, the Cecotto remains one of the most exclusive and fascinating versions of the legendary E30 M3. A direct link between the road car and the racing circuit created in honour of a man who proved he could be a champion on two wheels and four!
