Power 360 PS

At its debut at the Paris Show in 1976, the 512 BB was equipped with a 5-litre version of the 12-cylinder boxer. The new engine proved a great success, giving the same power at lower revs, better torque and a smoother delivery than the earlier version in the 365 GT4 BB. The Pininfarina coachwork differed only slightly from the previous model in certain details which not only made it look even more elegant but also helped improve engine cooling. Between 1976 and 1980 there were 929 exemplars built. The Ferrari 512 BB presented here was first delivered in Italy in 1977. A few years ago, the car was extensively revised in Italy by renowned Ferrari specialists on a first-class basis and repainted in its original delivery colour “Argento Auteuil Metallizz”. After having finished the restoration, the vehicle received a Ferrari Classiche certificate. An extensive photo and invoice documentation of all work completed is available. The engine and gearbox have recently been completely overhauled at Ferrari Rothe in Hamburg. This Ferrari 512 BB with a low mileage of only 40,452 km is in a first-class condition. Engine V12-cylinder, 4942 ccm, 360 hp (factory data)
