The Porsche 911 2.4 E upgraded to ‘S specification’ offered at Autostorico is finished in Guards Red with Black cloth interior trim. Supplied new via Hamberg Porsche in 1972 it spent its early years in Germany, before being imported into the United Kingdom in November 1978. Converted to right hand dive in the early 1980s. Numerous upgrades have been carried out to the brakes; suspension and the engine being rebuilt to ‘S specification’ by Colin Belton (Niemeister). The engine modifications include, ‘S’ Barrels and pistons, upgraded oil pump with bypass modification, 993 head studs, Polished crankshaft whilst still retaining its MFI. In 2006 the car was purchased by a well known Porsche bodywork specialist who began a full detailed and documented restoration. In 2008 the car was purchased by an avid Porsche collector who continued to maintain this stunning example regardless of cost. During his ownership he undertook a further engine refresh carried out by Mike Fletcher (Tuthill’s) along with a bare metal respray in 2018. This exceptional example must be one of the best early 1970’s Porsche’s currently on the road. Supplied with a history file including a current V5 registration document, invoices and other related history.
