The GT40 doesn’t need a real introduction does it? This car was in the hands of the same passionate owner for more than 30 years and has been uprated and fine-tuned over the same period. It started life as a factory built GTD 40 in guards red with silver striping, dark blue leather seats and dash that gathered a beautiful patina over the years. The engine is a blue-printed and balanced ford 302 with Keith Black pistons and comp cams 292H-10 camshaft, performer rpm 6025 aluminium heads, performer rpm manifold with a Holley 750 on top. Gearbox is the UN1 with Quaife ATB limited slip differential, 5th gear overdrive. Clutch cp2583-17/ pressure plate cp2394-14 are AP racing . Rod change-gear shift mechanism. Stainless steel crossover exhaust with equal-lenght primary’s. Gulf arches are filled with 17×14 image wheels in the back, 17×10 in front, tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport. Brakes are uprated items in the rear, and Girling 16/4 callipers with 356 mm ap racing disks (cp 5000-218CG8) in front. The car comes with spare front and rear body. As can be seen in the pictures, no effort has been spared to make the car look as close to the real thing as possible! Streetlegal and registered in Belgium.
