The Aston Martin DB6 represents the ultimate expression of British grand touring in the 1960s – elegant, refined, and unmistakably classic. Produced in March 1967, this DB6 Coupé was assembled at Newport Pagnell and delivered with its original 3.995-litre inline-six engine paired with a manual gearbox, offering 282 hp and a top speed of around 240 km/h. Chassis number DB6/3030/R and engine number 400/3051 confirm that this car retains its matching numbers, a highly sought-after feature for collectors. Originally finished in Pacific Blue with a Light Tan leather interior, the coupé combines subtle elegance with the graceful fastback Kamm-tail design that defines the DB6. Originally delivered as a right-hand drive car, it has since been converted to left-hand drive (LHD) to suit continental European use. This exemplar boasts a meticulously documented history, supported by Aston Martin Works invoices and records from Classic & Sports Cars (France). Between 2017 and 2022, it underwent an extensive restoration and service program, including a top-end engine rebuild, carburetor and ignition system replacements, complete electrical work, and the professional installation of a new ZF gearbox, rebuilt in Schweinfurt, Germany, to factory standards. Today, the DB6 presents in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with approximately 115,000 km on the odometer. Its original color combination highlights the model’s elegant lines, and the interior retains a natural patina that speaks to the authenticity of this classic British GT. Produced in just 1,327 examples, the DB6 represents the final evolution of the “David Brown” era, bridging classic design with improved comfort and handling. Features such as the extended wheelbase, power-assisted steering, and refined suspension make it both a pleasure to drive and a true collector’s icon. With its matching numbers, complete restoration history, and elegant presentation, this DB6 Coupé offers a rare opportunity to acquire one of Aston Martin’s most celebrated grand tourers in original and fully road-ready condition. 1967 Aston Martin DB6 AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Lister Jaguar Knobbly – The little English car with big teeth In the late 1950s, the world of motor racing was dominated by giants such as Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin. However, in a small workshop in Cambridge, a craftsman named Brian Lister had a bold dream: to beat the big names at their own game, with much more modest resources. The beginnings – A craftsman takes on the giants Brian Lister, the son of an industrialist, developed a passion for mechanics at an early age. After building a few prototypes with MG and Bristol engines, he realised that he needed a more powerful engine to compete with the big names in the Sports category. That's where Jaguar came in. The Coventry-based brand, fresh from its victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Type D, agreed to supply Lister with its legendary XK six-cylinder engine. The combination was explosive: an ultra-light tubular chassis, aerodynamic bodywork designed by Frank Costin, and a reliable, powerful engine. In 1957, the Lister Jaguar Knobbly was born. ‘Knobbly’, an affectionate nickname Its name was not official. In the paddocks, people began to talk about this ‘bumpy’ Lister because of its rounded shape and prominent wings. The bumps on the bonnet and around the wheels were not there for style: they covered the suspension and mechanics, designed solely for aerodynamic and mechanical efficiency. The nickname ‘Knobbly’ would remain forever. A dazzling track record In 1958, the Lister Knobbly established itself as the ultimate weapon in sports car racing in the United Kingdom. Archie Scott Brown, a driver of exceptional talent despite his physical disability, won race after race with this machine. He racked up victories in England and impressed on the continent. Other big names took the wheel: Masten Gregory, Stirling Moss, Ivor Bueb, Innes Ireland... All praised its precise steering, powerful engine and stability in corners. On many British circuits, the Knobbly was virtually unbeatable. Tragedy and a turning point However, the glory was overshadowed by tragedy. In May 1958, during a race at Spa-Francorchamps, Archie Scott Brown lost his life in an accident. This tragedy deeply affected Brian Lister, who lost his star driver and friend. Although the team continued to enter its cars in races, the momentum was broken. In 1959, the regulations changed and the competition became tougher. Lister tried to adapt with an even more streamlined bodywork (the ‘Costin’ model), but costs rose. At the end of 1959, the adventure in official competition came to an end. Undimmed glory Even though it was no longer on the official starting grid, the Knobbly never fell into oblivion. Collectors preserved a few examples, aware that they owned a piece of history. Each car, often hand-built and slightly different, became a cult object. The comeback – Renaissance of the Knobbly In the 1990s, enthusiasm for historic racing exploded. The Lister Knobbly reappeared on the circuits at events such as the Goodwood Revival and Le Mans Classic. The public rediscovered their unique silhouette, their throaty roar and their feline agility. In response to this enthusiasm, Lister Cars decided in 2014 to restart production. Ten ‘continuation cars’ were built according to the original plans, templates and methods: tubular chassis, hand-hammered aluminium bodywork, tuned Jaguar XK engine. Even the sound is faithful to that of 1958. A legend that lives on Today, whether it's an original model or an official continuation, the Lister Knobbly continues to race. It can be seen battling wheel to wheel with Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, Maserati 300S and Aston Martin DBR1 cars, as if time had stood still. For the drivers lucky enough to drive it, it's a raw experience: no electronic assistance, no compromises, just pure mechanics and talent behind the wheel. It's a lesson in old-school driving, where every corner is earned through sweat and precision. The Lister Jaguar Knobbly is more than a car: it's a symbol. A symbol of British audacity in the face of the big manufacturers, a symbol of a golden age of motor racing when creativity and courage could beat financial resources. And as long as we see it emerge from a cloud of dust when braking at Woodcote or roar into the night at Le Mans Classic, we will know that this little English car with big teeth has never really left racing. Lister Jaguar BHL 20 – 442 PPP A survivor with an unbroken history Among the few Listers produced between 1954 and 1959, the BHL 20 chassis occupies a unique place. Part of the latest generation of ‘little Listers’, it was sold bare in 1959 to officer James MacKreth and was initially fitted with MG mechanics and registered as 442 PPP on 7 October 1960. Three years later, its destiny changed: David A. Knobbs replaced the modest MG engine with a 3.4-litre Jaguar six-cylinder, entrusting the chassis's transformation to tuner Ken Eaton. Under his expert hands, BHL 20 shed its frail appearance to become a true Lister Knobbly Jaguar, ready to compete with the big boys. on soon left its mark on the bodywork: in the late 1960s, a crash seriously damaged the car, which was temporarily taken out of service. But in 1974, Jeremy Broad, a well-known figure in Jaguar XK circles, undertook its resurrection. Entrusted once again to Ken Eaton, it was fitted with a 3.8-litre Jaguar E-Type engine and returned to the racetrack. In 1976, during the Prescott Hillclimb, bad luck struck again: Broad crashed into a tree, severely bending the chassis. This long enforced hiatus, punctuated by a succession of bodyworks – some dubious, others authentic Williams & Pritchard – never altered the car's continuity. The arrival of a genuine factory body, revealing the original colours beneath the paint, definitively anchored BHL 20 in its identity. In 2005, Broad finally sold the car to Trevor Groom, a close friend of Norman Dewis and a well-known figure in Jaguar racing circles, who meticulously restored it to its ultimate configuration: a Lister Jaguar Knobbly, with its original chassis, authentic components (tanks, Girling brakes, Dunlop wheels, dashboard) and official papers, including the precious original ‘buff log book’. It then changed hands and was brought to France by us, where it had several owners, all of whom entered it in Le Mans Classic, among other events. The last owner undertook a meticulous restoration of the bodywork to revive its shape and give it the shine it has today. Fully serviced before Le Mans Classic 2025, it is ready to take to the track. Today, BHL 20 is unanimously recognised as the only chassis legitimately bearing this number, its history having been confirmed by Doug Nye himself and clarified in the face of confusion by certain authors. It is a regular feature at the most prestigious historic events: Le Mans Classic, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and FIA championships dedicated to 1950s sports prototypes. An unquestionable pedigree Original BHL 20 chassis with registration number 442 PPP Jaguar conversion by Ken Eaton in 1963 Successive owners: James MacKreth, David A. Knobbs, John Harper, Jeremy Broad, Trevor Groom, current one in France. Significant accidents and documented reconstructions (late 1960s, Prescott 1976) Knobbly bodywork by Williams & Pritchard with traces of factory paint Period documents (log book, modern V5C, FIA/MSA passport) Regular presence at major historic events Conclusion The Lister Jaguar Knobbly is more than a car: it is a symbol. A symbol of British audacity in the face of the big manufacturers, a symbol of a golden age of motor racing when creativity and courage could beat financial resources. 1959 Jaguar Lister Knobbly Historic Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. A symbol of British audacity in the face of the big manufacturers, a symbol of a golden age of motor racing when creativity and courage could beat financial resources. The Ferrari 328 GTS has arrived at the Cool Classic Club. More power. More displacement. More emotion. And still... that irresistible Italian flair that looks faster standing still than most cars ever will at full throttle. This is the ultimate evolution of Ferrari’s legendary transversely mounted V8 line — the 328 GTS. A car that doesn’t just mark the end of an era, it defines it. Built in a time when driving was still raw, physical and deeply personal. But this isn’t just any 328. Delivered new in Madrid in 1986, finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa over a timeless Tan leather interior. Cherished like a family heirloom, maintained with a devotion few Ferraris ever receive. Restoration began in 2013, and turned into an obsession. Between 2017 and 2021, every bolt, every detail, was refined to near perfection. In January 2025, it received a full service at Ferrari Official Dealer Santogal Madrid — ready for its next chapter, whether that's admiration or acceleration. Slide in. Remove the Targa top. Listen. Feel. This is Ferrari the way Enzo intended — when scent, sound and soul spoke louder than spec sheets. - 1973 Porsche 911 2.4 E Coupe
A lovely restored example of a classic Porsche which was sold new in Verona Italy. The car remained in Italy and after a period in Pavia the car arrived in Holland in 2004. The car features an S package (all instruments and steering wheel), an S front spoiler and is finished in classic Elfenbein white (Originally the car was a rare color Seeblue). The enthusiastic owner had a lot of detail work done to the car at a well known Porsche specialist. In 2008 the car changed hands and entered in a large Porsche collection and in 2009 the car was restored and repainted at a well known Porsche specialist. The engine was partially rebuilt, the cylinder heads rebuilt, the gearbox rebuilt, the brakes rebuilt and a complete new stainless steel exhaust system fitted. In the interior the leather seats were retrimmed and new original carpets fitted as well as a new headlining. In 2019 the Porsche Classic centre gave the car some good attention and had the Fuchs alloy wheels restored with correct Pirelli CN 36 tyres, the dynamo rebuilt, new fuel lines, new wiring in the engine bay etc. etc. The car comes with standard leather seats or if desired we can purchase a nice set of Recaro like seats with Pepita inserts which would suit the color well. The car has recently been serviced and is capable of daily driving or just enjoy it on a Sunday. The panel fit is in factory finish giving the nice sound when closing the doors. So here we have a European matching number 911 2.4 E of the last model year of the classic 911 F series on which big sums of money have been spent at all the right specialists. 2.4 litre 6 cylinder with mechanical fuel injection giving 165 bhp, 220 km top speed and 0-100 km/h in 7,5 sec (factory data). 1973 Porsche 911 2.4 E Coupe Very Superior Old Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1957-mercedes-benz-300-sl-roadster-3
Created to spearhead Mercedes-Benz's return to competition in the post-war era, the 300SL debuted in the 1952 Mille Miglia, finishing 2nd and 4th overall. Wins in the Carrera Pan-Americana and at Le Mans followed, and the 300SL was on its way to becoming part of motor sporting legend. The first racers were open-topped but before the '52 season's end the distinctive gull-wing doored Coupé had appeared. Unusually high sills were a feature of the multi-tubular spaceframe chassis, and while access was not a problem of the open car, the adoption of coupé bodywork required innovative thinking - hence the gull-wing doors. Launched in 1954, the production 300SL retained the spaceframe chassis of the racer and was powered by a 2,996cc, overhead-camshaft, inline six canted at 45 degrees to achieve a lower, more aerodynamic bonnet line. Using innovative direct fuel injection, this state-of-the-art power unit produced 215bhp at 5,800rpm. A four-speed gearbox transmitted power to the hypoid bevel rear axle. Suspension was independent all round by wishbones and coil springs at the front, with swing axles and coil springs at the rear. Tested by the highly respected American magazine Road & Track in 1955, the 300SL accelerated from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds, going on to achieve a top speed of 140mph: outstanding figures for its day. It was, arguably, the world's first supercar. Clearly the 300SL Coupé would be a hard act to follow yet the Roadster version, introduced just three years later, succeeded in bettering its closed cousin's already exemplary road manners. Built with conventional doors, the 300SL Roadster was first exhibited at the Geneva Salon in May 1957 and was an immediate hit with the 1950s 'jet set' including royalty, actors and socialites. The production of an open 300SL involved altering the cockpit area, where the spaceframe was redesigned to permit lower sills for improved access. At the same time the rear suspension was changed to incorporate low-pivot swing axles. The 300SL Roadster sold well for a car that cost more than a Ferrari 250GT California Spyder, and would out-live the 300SL Coupé by several years This wonderful matching numbers 300 SL Roadster left the factory on 9th December 1957 to be sent to distributor Studebaker/Packard in South Bend, Indiana, USA. The original colour scheme was Hellblau with white leather interior and beige hood. Other original features listed include instruments in English/miles, sealed-beam headlights, 'Made in Western Germany' plaques, Becker Mexico radio, reversing light, and a 3.89:1 ratio rear axle. It is understood that this 300 SL had just two keepers in the USA, moving from Indiana to Bayshore, New York for its second custodian, Mr Rager. Rager would keep the 300 SL until 1989 when it was sold back to Germany with just 33,000 miles to a specialist restorer, Mr Kaesmacher of Dusseldorf. During At that time the car was re-trimmed in Cognac leather and was also fitted with European headlamps and a new black soft-top. The engine and gearbox were overhauled and other mechanical works carried out by Kaesmacher. 2011 saw the car move to 300 SL specialists HK Engineering who carried out further documented works to the car. Shortly thereafter, the car was purchased by noted expert Ivan Page-Radcliff who imported the car into the UK. Page-Radcliff’s subject expertise was unrivalled, with a career that had started out selling 300 SL from Brooklands Motor Cars in period. As a man who sold over 100 300 SL Gullwings, he certainly knew how to find a great example. In 2013 the 300 SL was sold to a French collector where it would remain for a further two years ahead of return and reimportation to the UK by the current owner in 2015. In the past ten years, this example has been used sparingly, received routine maintenance by DK Engineering and more recently, Riverside Engineering. As confirmed by Martin Cushway in January 2025, all numbers on this 300 SL roadster match the original data card; chassis, engine, gearbox etc, including each of the wheels and the spare. It is understood that fewer than 50% of Roadster production retains its original gearbox today. Today this example presents well, accompanied by its history folio and UK registration and is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately. 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster D.K. - 1999 BMW Z3 M Roadster
The reintroduced popularity of the roadster body style brought about by the Mazda Miata in North America necessitated a reaction from the European Makes to offer their own interpretation on the genre after helping establish a market in the mid-century. BMW entered into the fray in 1995 with the Z3. In classic roadster fashion, a long hood and short rear deck composed the overall shape. However, the lines were far from the typical teutonic straightedges commonly seen in the period, and instead, designer Joji Nagashima employed the softer, rounder shapes from the roadsters of the past. Every single body panel possesses some form of curvature, an element that surely gave the manufacturing side of the business a bit of a headache. Fortunately, it all works quite well, and today, the Z3 looks like nothing BMW has put out before or since, and the boldness of the design has aged remarkably well. Enthusiasts of the brand might have been saddened to see an inline-6 unavailable at launch under that long hood, but all could rest assured that BMW would deliver soon enough. Many could be satisfied with the lightness and responsiveness of the 4-cylinder models, but more power always tends to make things better. Just a year after the car’s introduction, the traditional Inline-6 arrived along with deliciously punched out fenders allowing for a 2.5inch wider rear track. It was only a matter of time now before the M-division got its hands on the little roadster. Falling in line with E36 M3, North American examples of the new Z3 M Roadster were fitted with the S52 engine upon release. While down on power from its more exotic, individual throttle-bodied cousin, this bored and stroked M52 motor is not without its merits in the context of the contemporary automotive scene. At the end of the day, a naturally aspirated inline-6 with a 7,000rpm redline makes for an enticing proposition to any gearhead. The Z3 M Roadster on offer here, chassis # WBSCK9333XLC89705, is a 1-owner example finished in Estoril Blue over a full black interior. Showing just 24,266 miles this is one of the most well cared for examples we have handled. Delivered new to Roadshow BMW in Tennessee, the car was immediately sent to its one and only owner in Decatur, Illinois. From here the owner began thoroughly enjoying the Z3 as he put roughly 6,000 miles on the car in its first two summers. Over the next 6 years usage became less frequent but still regular with proper maintenance carried out along the way. As it sits today this Z3 is entirely unmodified and ready for continued use after a baseline fluids swap as the last service was done in late 2020, or roughly 1,000 miles ago. This Z3 M Roadster presents a great opportunity to acquire a collector grade example of the platform. With a handwritten log documenting every service and the miles corresponding to them you know exactly how meticulously maintained the car really is. Included in the sale are the tools, first aid kit, black leather tonneau cover, the Z3 Roadster branded tonneau carrier case, and available service records and logs. EXTERIOR Body And Paint The paint maintains a consistent, deep shine throughout with no serious or unsightly blemishes to note. Several very small mm wide pits are present in between the kidney grills likely from road debris. All of the obvious VIN stickers are present throughout each panel and match the correct VIN number. All of the shut gaps are excellent as expected from a lower mileage Z3 M. Glass And Trim The glass appears to be all original and blemish-free including the windshield that has some light stone peppering but certainly does not warrant replacement. All of the trim is supple, free from sun fading or shrinking. The soft top fits excellently with no rips or blemishes to note and the plastic rear window is clear. The only minor issue to note is the rubber surrounding the rear window has partially worn away. Wheels The wheels are in wonderful, like-new condition showing no signs of wear or curbing on the deep lip that is common on the Z3 M. The finish is bright and shows no signs of fading from age. INTERIOR Seats And Surfaces The seats and interior surfaces present very well with wear commensurate with the mileage displayed. The driver's side seat bolster has some wear consistent with the mileage. The dash and door panels are excellent.with no noteworthy issues. Functionality And Accessories Everything works as it should upon our inspection of the systems including the A/C, lights, radio, top, seats, windows, wipers, etc. The notorious seat rail issues that these cars normally have has been properly fixed. ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK Engine Bay The engine bay is tidy, clean, all stock looking and has proper stickers and finishes. Even the BMW-branded heat shield is in great condition and is still deep black in color. Trunk Area The trunk area is clean, all original and issue-free. Upon removing the carpet floor the correct full tool set and first aid kit are present. We also scanned for the rear subframe cracking that often plaques these vehicles and there are no issues to note. MECHANICALS Engine The engine fires to life with its first revolution upon cold start. There are no odd noises to note, the power delivery is linear, and strong. The car has had regular servicing and is well maintained. Transmission The five speed transmission shifts smoothly between all of the gears and the clutch operates as it should seemingly with plenty of life left. Brakes And Suspension The brakes are firm and function perfectly with no fade or shatter. The suspension feels as it should. Tires The tires are date coded to 2019 with plenty of tread left. It is a staggered set up with 225s in the front, and 245s in the rear. 1999 BMW Z3 M Roadster LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1993-lancia-delta-hf-integrale-evoluzione-group-a
The Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V Group A In the first six years of the World Rally Championship’s Group A regulations, the Lancia Delta won every single Manufacturers’ title. Just think about the gravity of that achievement for a moment. In its multitude of successive evolutions and, of course, the legendary Works Lancia Martini Racing Team colours, the Delta racked up 46 victories on rallying’s world stage, in the hands of such motorsport legends as Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion and Markku Alén. The Delta HF Integrale 16V was the third competition variant of the model, introducing a raft of improvements over the outgoing 8V, predominantly focused around power. The FIA had introduced a power cap at 300HP, which left Abarth’s engineers instead chasing mid-range torque increases. The new four-valve-per-cylinder (16V) engine increased overall power from 280HP to 295HP, while a slightly smaller Garrett turbocharger was installed in order to reduce lag and increase throttle response. Further, electronically controlled fuel injection was a production first. “Twelve victories in 24 top-flight rallies, two World Rally Manufacturers’ Championships and one World Rally Driver’s Championship were satisfying rewards for a technical team that been chipping away at the Delta for a number of years.” The tightly packaged engine bay was made tighter still with the addition of a larger intercooler, more air inlets and, of course, that chunkier 16-valve head, which necessitated the characteristic ‘hump’ in the bonnet. Other mechanical enhancements included the fitment of larger-diameter brakes and a more reliable and efficient electronic management system. Twelve victories in 24 top-flight rallies, two World Rally Manufacturers’ Championships and one World Rally Driver’s Championship were satisfying rewards for a technical team that been chipping away at the Delta for a number of years. Chassis no. 500852 A full Works-specification car born in Lancia’s Reparto Corse skunkworks, this Delta HF Integrale 16V is chassis number 500852, which was built to tarmac specification. Competing in the World Rally Championship under the factory Lancia Martini Racing Team banner, the car’s maiden competitive outing came in the 59th Monte-Carlo Rally – an event the Torinese marque had won for the preceding five years. Bearing the Turin registration ‘TO 92330P’, the car was earmarked for Miki Biasion, the Italian double World Rally Champion and the man perhaps more closely associated with the Group A Delta than any other. Alongside him was his longtime co-driver Tiziano Siviero. The traditional opening round of the season, ‘The Monte’ has always presented manufacturers and drivers with the ultimate challenge: conditions that change from dry to icy to snowy and back to dry, often all in the space of one special stage. As a result, tyres and tyre choice play a hugely significant role on the Côte d'Azur, with the strategists and drivers working closely together to pre-empt the evolving conditions and one-up their competitors. For Miki Biasion, a poor early tyre choice coupled with a persistent brake issue quickly left him out of contention for the outright lead. However, the Italian demonstrated his deft skill and mature race craft to remain in the hunt with this Delta, scrapping and squabbling with fellow Lancia pupil Bruno Saby for third position. When Lancia’s leading man, Didier Auriol, retired on the closing leg, Biasion was promoted to an unexpected yet very welcome second position overall. Save for one further outing during a factory test in Savona, this Delta was, unusually, not used again in 1991 and instead returned to the factory in Turin. At some point in 1992, chassis number 500852 was upgraded by Abarth to the ultimate HF Integrale ‘Evo’ specification, which is more commonly referred to as ‘Deltona’. The car which awarded Lancia its record 10th World Rally Championship Manufacturers’ title is distinguished most obviously by its muscular and boxy wheel arches and more pronounced rear wing. Beneath the surface, efforts were focused on freeing even more power from the 16-valve engine. With the Works Lancia Martini Racing Team having ceased its official competition activities at the end of 1991, it fell to the marque’s de-facto ‘satellite’ team Jolly Club to defend Lacia’s honour on the world stage. Resplendent in its striking new Repsol livery, chassis number 500852 was drafted into competitive action once again, tackling both the New Zealand and Spanish rounds of the World Rally Championship in the hands of the Uruguayan rally veteran Gustavo Trelles. The curtain-closing event for this Lancia Delta came in Gran Canaria at the very end of 1993. The Race of Champions was in its infancy, but a princely prize fund attracted a raft of great current and former champions from various disciplines. For 1993’s ‘Rally Masters’ edition of the Race of Champions, the double World Rally Champion Carlos Sainz was earmarked to race this Lancia on the technical 2.6km Circuito Islas Canarias. The beauty of this particular event’s format, however, was that the Spaniard’s decorated opponents – in this case Didier Auriol, Ari Vatanen and François Delecour – were all required to race his car in a heat, too. In the winter Spanish sun, Sainz ousted Markku Alén and Ari Vatanen from the competition in the preliminary heats, before facing off against his WRC nemesis, Toyota’s Didier Auriol, in a spectacular final. Alas, Auriol snatched victory by a whisker – partly due to the fact that Sainz clattered a haybale. That small contretemps is worth remembering at this point. Unusually, chassis number 539663 was not entered in any further rallies and instead returned to Lancia in Turin, where it remained until October of 1996. Crucially, the car was never restored. And that means the small section of damage to the bodywork sustained by Sainz during that Race of Champions final was never fixed, standing as a testament to the sheer, dogged effort of a World Rally Champion on the ragged edge. As Fiat Auto S.p.A. Gestione Sportiva correspondence accompanying this Delta illustrates, the factory sold this car, untouched since its final Race of Champions outing, to a Greek collector by the name of Gans Volkmar. In doing so, it also confirmed the brief Works competition history of the car: Monte-Carlo with Miki Biasion (2nd overall), New Zealand & Spain with Gustavo Trelles (7th and 6th overall) and the Race of Champions with Sainz (2nd overall). “The small section of mild cosmetic damage sustained by Sainz during that Race of Champions final stands as a testament to the sheer, dogged effort of a World Rally Champion on the ragged edge.” In 2016, chassis number 539663 was submitted for Lancia Classiche certification – certification it duly received. And in 2018, it joined the UK-based collection of its current owner. Fittingly, he boasts a remarkable assembly of competition Lancias. Since then, this Delta not been exhibited in public since. Serviced and presented in full running condition, chassis number 500852 is accompanied by a generous history file and its original dated carbon-Kevlar racing seats and seatbelts. Finding a completely original podium-finishing ex-Lancia Martini Racing Team Delta HF Integrale that was raced by two World Rally Champions, retired and retained by the factory, and not subsequently rallied extensively in private hands is incredibly rare. Encountering such a car that’s had just two owners in the last 28 years is even more extraordinary. 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione Group A Girardo & Co. Other Cars from Girardo & Co.
