In 1966, The Le Mans 24 Hour was the stage for climax of one of racing's biggest rivalries -- Ford vs Ferrari.
There was a time when Enzo Ferrari's creation was far from the tour de force it is today. In 1963, after selling an annual average of only 400 cars, Ford attempted to buy the company over. Enzo refused to accept defeat, and so he took things to the racetrack to decide whose machine was superior.
