We are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful Ferrari 365 GTC - 1 of only 22 right hand drive examples imported into the UK. Chassis 12237 was ordered by the legendary Monaco Grand Prix-winning race team owner Rob Walker, who's famous team also competed with success at Le Mans, and took two Goodwood TT victories with Stirling Moss in the magnificent dark blue 250 SWB. Walker ordered the car in December 1968 through Colonel Ronnie Hoare's Maranello Concessionaires Ltd, and it was completed and delivered in April ’69. Present in the cars extensive history file are all the original invoices and correspondence between Rob Walker, the factory and Maranello at the time. Only having covered 55,000 miles, throughout its life, it has always remained in the UK and been in the hands of many great car collectors, where it has always been maintained to the highest level. Originally ordered in Ivory Tetrarch with black upholstery, in 2014 it underwent a documented bare metal re-paint and colour change by DK Engineering, and as fitting nod to the first owner, it was painted in Rob Walker dark blue and trimmed in blue leather. Today the car is Classiche Certified and accompanied by a magnificent history file.
