MERCEDES SL 300 GULLWING BRAND NEW 1954 Special features: N This car is a very thoroughly restored automobile For its restoration, special emphasis has been placed on the original features as intended by the manufacturer. The car has been dismantled in its absolute entirety, the paint of the body has been removed with dipping procedure and the body sey been serviced with original weld poin KTL dipcoat priming and subsequentily positioning. Then the raw body received high-quality paint. Seam sealing and undercoating have been redone according original specifications. Engine, transmission and rear axle have been dismantiec inspected and entirely reassembled with many new parts This also holds true for other mechanical elements such as the window lifters, brake system, axle parts D All chrome parts have been newly chrome-plated or replaced with new parts All inner coolers/heat exchangers have been replaced with new parts. The entire equipment and the canopy have been restored. For this purpose the substructure has been equipped with new upholstery, the seat springs have been reinforced and the substructure has been covered with new upholstery. All wear parts and rubber elements and ducts have been restored. The time spent on restoration amounts 4.500 working hours and the work was executed with utmost quality by company BRABUS GmbH, Brabus-Allee S 46240 Bottrop.
